Personal Statements

Your personal statement is your opportunity to tell your unique story and show who you are beyond your resume or transcripts. 

A well-written personal statement allows you to highlight your motivations, values, goals, and the experiences that shaped your interest in a particular field or program, none of which can be accomplished through a resume or transcript.

In this module, we will start at the beginning with brainstorming what you want your personal statement to convey, and we will walk through each step of the writing process together.
