What is a scientific portfolio? And why do you need one?
Before we talk about portfolios, let’s engage in a short, reflective exercise. Please read the (very short) article “Broad interests reap benefits for science.” As you read, think about all the aspects of your life outside of your science that, in turn, make you a more well-rounded scientist.
Keeping these “outside science” experiences in mind, let’s learn about portfolios.
